Major changes to our Clinical System – April 2026

RAVENSWOOD SURGERY – IMPORTANT NOTICE – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

We will be changing our Clinical System in April 2026. This change is being made by the Scottish Government and will be happening across Scotland. From Wednesday, 15th April until Tuesday, 21st April we will have read only access to the medical record system while the transfer of data to the new provider takes place.

Please see below important points to be aware of:

· We will be offering emergency appointments only from 16th April to 24th April. You must be available to attend on-the-day if requested by the GP

· We ask that you order your repeat medication in plenty of time. Please request all medications required by Monday, 13th April

· We will not be accepting new patients registrations from Friday, 10th April to Friday, 1st May

· We will be unable to receive any electronic results or letters from the hospital or any other health facility during this downtime

· We cannot provide any copies of medical records or provide any reports for private companies

· We cannot provide fit notes during this period

· Patient Access for requesting prescriptions will be unavailable from 14th April. You will receive a message to re-register for the new system soon after 22nd April. If you have not informed us of any recent changes to your email address regarding online ordering, please let us know before 14th April

· We are unable to book future appointments during this time

We kindly ask for your understanding during this challenging and stressful time.

Our Team will be learning a brand new system, please understand that requests and queries may take longer than usual to process.
